Simon McKerrell is a recent graduate of the BA(Scottish Music) degree at the RSAMD in Glasgow. He has a dual role as competition piper and traditional musician, playing Highland Bagpipes, Uillean pipes, Border pipes and whistle. He has toured extensively throughout the world as part of a group and in his own right; including visits to Hong Kong, America, Iceland, France, Macedonia and the Czech Republic. Simon is currently enrolled in a research programme in 20th Century traditional music at the RSAMD.
